Washington DC

The site design for this LEED Silver Class A building renovation provides a visual connection between its outdoor plaza and leafy Rawlins Park, reinforcing the landscape geometry of this historic Washington, DC neighborhood.  Large masses of native and adaptive plantings create bold seasonal color that compliments the plaza sculpture and softens the paved courtyard.  Along with brilliant Japanese maples, this landscape provides a vibrant, shady respite for the neighborhood.
