Structured and free form play is encouraged by nature and astronomy themes in the form of climbing mounds and natural forms shaped like animal constellations. An observation tower with constellation cutouts, amphitheater stage, water play, climbing structures, hillside play and sand box are new site elements. The sustainable design approach minimizes storm water runoff with permeable play surfaces, rain gardens and a green roof pavilion.
