Forest Park

Takoma Park, MD

The renovation of Forest Park focused on tree preservation. Practicing sensitive grading paired with stone retaining walls limited the adverse effects of park expansion. Pedestrian circulation into and throughout the park was improved. Passive and active programming was enhanced with a picnic pavilion, a rock climbing wall, and a labyrinth.
